Are you accepting new clients?
Do you accept Insurance?
How long is each session?
What are your rates?
Yes. I dedicate my practice to my clients and make sure that I have enough time to spend with each client. Therefore, I limit the number of
clients that I have at any one time period. I am flexible with my office hours and am able to meet into the evenings, so, clients are able to
work around their work schedules.
No. Currently, I do not accept insurance. There are advantages and disadvantages to insurance. Obviously, the main advantage is that
somebody else pays for the service. However, that means your privacy cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, the amount of treatment you
receive is dictated by the insurance company. Moreover, your records will be memorialized within your permanent insurance records,
which has its own risks and disadvantages. Whereas, without an insurance company paying for service, your records are private and most
likely be kept that way. Often times, an insurance company will require a mental diagnosis be made, which may cause you to be
stigmatized. My records are private, and will remain that way.
Generally, each session is 50 minutes long. If you are late, your time continues to run. Often times, I can go beyond the standard 50
minutes; however, that will start another 50 minute session. You will be billed accordingly.
I currently offer the first session for FREE. After that, subsequent sessions $35 per 50 minute session. Rates subject to change with
notification.
